Men’s Day Hole-In-One Rules
Updated 8/13/2018
Eligibility of a hole-in-one to receive benefits from the hole-in-one pot.
- Hole-in-one payouts apply to men’s night members that have paid that week’s hole-in-one fee prior to the start of play.
- Guests are not eligible for the hole-in-one pot.
- The hole-in-one must occur during that night’s 18-hole men’s night (extra holes do not count).
- The hole-in-one must be witnessed by at least 2 other men’s night participants to be eligible for payout.
Paying out the hole-in-one pot.
- Any hole in one will be validated by a minimum of two Men’s Night committee members to confirm eligibility.
- If a men’s night committee member has a hole-in-one, they are excluded from assessing eligibility.
- Once a hole-in-one has been confirmed eligible for payout, it will be formally announced to the men’s night members during that men’s night or the following one.
- If an individual has a hole-in-one and it is confirmed eligible, the individual’s hole-in-one will be added to the eligible hole-in-one winners list.
- The pot will be split equally amongst all of the hole-in-ones.
- An individual could have more than one hole-in-one and would be eligible for a higher payout proportionate to the number of hole-in-ones (i.e. if one member had 2 hole-in-ones and there were 5 in total, they would receive 2 fifths or 40% of the pot).
- The payout(s) will be done in cash at the men’s night finale and formally announced to all men’s night members present.
Carrying over the hole-in-one pot.
- If no hole-in-one occurs throughout the year, the hole-in-one pot will be carried over to the following year’s hole-in-one prize pool.
