Board Position: Vice Captain

PURPOSE:

To support the management team in their goals and objectives while promoting and supporting the vision statement.

VISION:

Provide the best member club experience through excellence in service, course condition, food quality and member comradery.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Support the captain and board in their duties.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Captain with direction, in the performance of his duties and act in the Captain position when he’s absent.
• Assist Captain when requested.
• Assist Captain and Greystone staff on Men’s Night on 50/50 draw and prize distribution.
• Be available to members to listen to their concerns or issues and advise Greystone Management Team.
• Listen with compassion.
• Whenever requested, be prepared to take on special roles (duties).
• Always be helpful to members and their guests.
• Support all advisory members in their role.

Shared Responsibilities:

• Promote a positive image of Greystone.
• Provide Member Feedback to the Greystone Management Team and Advisory board.
• Try to participate in Club Captain Events within ClubLink.
• Support, talk and assist all members when required.
• Support Men’s Night program including 50/50 fundraiser, promotion of sponsor nights and special events.
• Help in promoting the business and Vision Statement of Greystone Golf Club.
• Always be promoting the club to potential new club members and club events to current members.
